SIX EGG POUND CAKE

 Six Egg Pound Cake

Ingredients:

3 cups all purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups of sugar

1 1/2 cups butter

6 eggs

vanilla extract (pour with your heart)

3/4 cup milk

Step One: Grease bundt pan and preheat oven to 350

Step Two: mix flour, baking powder, and salt into bowl

Step Three: in a separate bowl cream the sugar and butter together, after that is done add the eggs one by one beating them in each time

Step Four: start to fold in the flour bowl to the egg bowl

Step Five: add the milk and vanilla

Step Six: after it's all smoothly mixed, pour batter into the bundt pan and make sure it's even at the bottom

Step Seven: cook for about 45 minutes

When you remove the pan from the oven, let it cool for about five ish minutes, then run a knife to release the edges. Dump out the cake onto a wire cooling rack and allow to cool for about 20-30 minutes. 

We added a powdered sugar glaze to ours which is super easy to make. Just put powdered sugar in a bowl and add milk and vanilla. Then mix it up. No measurements, just mix it until it's got a smooth consistency and you have enough to coat the cake.
